1. Go to the beach. When we talk of summer, the first thing that usually comes to mind is – beach! Nothing beats enjoying the summer than going to the beach. And while you may have to spend for food, gas and some other stuff, it’s such a small amount compared to planning a month-long or even just a week or several days vacation. Just bring your family or friends along, wear your sexy bikini, meet new people while you’re there, and simply have a good time!

2. Go for a walk. Not only is it totally free, you get exercise while doing it, too! Either it’s a lazy, afternoon walk in the park or a morning, brisk walking routine, you get fresh air and workout all at the same time – totally free!

3. Start a craft project. If you’ve been dying to try out the crafts you’ve seen on TV, now is the best time to do so. Bring out the artist in you and start making that craft project! You have the whole summer to become an artist:)

4. Read a book. When was the last time you read a book? Too busy with school and work the first thing you go to when you need help with anything is the internet? Sometimes, nothing spells quiet, quality time than old-fashioned book reading. Try it – you may have forgotten how to and remember how good it feels.

5. Write a book or poetry. Aside from bringing out the artist in you in #3, bring out the writer in you as well by writing poems or a short story. It doesn’t have to be complicated or high falluting. Just express your deepest, most sincere thoughts and feelings and you may be surprised at what you come up with!

6. Cook. Browse through old cook books or search online and learn a new recipe/s this summer. Look for low-cost, healthy recipes and you’ll be amazed at how great a cook you can be!

7. Go to a yard sale, garage sale or flea market. Bring your mom or friend and go to all the yard sales or flea markets that you can. You’d be delighted to discover amazing finds at such low, low prices.

8. Surf the internet. Whether it’s for vacation ideas, games, social networking, online shopping or just simply browsing online, you have all summer to spend it on your computer. Just don’t overdo it that you stay cooked up in your room the whole summer and don’t even get to enjoy the summer sunshine.

9. Get a summer job or start a summer business. Whether you choose to get a summer job or start your own business, you earn money either way which is Yey! There are so many summer jobs you can apply in. Choose something that you love doing or can at least relate to so you’ll enjoy the summer doing what you love and getting paid to do it!

10. Exercise. How many times have you told yourself to start on that workout but always end up postponing it because you’re too busy – even not doing it all? Now is the best time to begin your exercise routine – and keep at it! What better way to spend the summer than being able to fit in those skimpy bikinis feeling fit and sexy. You may even have an extra bonus – a summer fling! So go now and work that butt off!

Enjoying the summer doesn’t have to mean emptying your bank account for the best vacation of your life. Look around and you’ll be surprised to find out the many things you can do this summer without going bankrupt. Just explore and be creative enough and you may have the best summer of your life – for free!
