In celebration of the Halloween season, the website has dedicated the whole month to writing and sharing articles about the spookiest time of the year. Since the former two articles were a little serious, talking about what to and not to buy at this time of the year, and how to celebrate Halloween on a budget, I’ve decided to make this month-ender article a little light, if not funny, to save you from all the fright this season brings.
Here are some Halloween jokes to put you in the spirit of the season – not to scare you off, but to make you laugh your socks off for a change.
Q: What did the bird say on Halloween?
A: Trick or TWEET!
Q: What is the skeleton’s favorite part of the house?
A: The LIVING room.
Q: What is a witch’s favorite subject in school?
A: SPELLing
Q: What are ghosts’ favorite kind of streets?
A: DEAD ends
Q: Why does a cemetery have to keep a fence around it?
A: Because people are DYING to get in.
Q: What do you give to a pumpkin who is trying to quit smoking?
A: A pumpkin PATCH!
Q: Where do vampires keep their money?
A: In the BLOOD bank!
Q: What did Dracula say after reading all these jokes?
A: They SUCK!
In honor of the “hair-raising holiday,” I just couldn’t resist but share with you some movie ideas for a true fright of your life. For the couch potatoes, nothing beats spending Halloween than watching scary movies while munching on popcorn, chocolates and soda, with your friends or family, right in the comfort of your own home. Why spend hundreds of dollars on costumes and parties when you can get all the scare you want with these classic horror flicks:
1. Halloween (what could be more apt?)
2. Amityville Horror
3. Friday the 13th
4. Poltergeist
5. Carrie
6. The Shining
7. Psycho
8. Nightmare on Elm Street
9. The Exorcist
10. ScreamTrilogy
You may have probably seen some or all of these classic blockbusters, but as the saying goes, “there’s nothing like the classics.” Just load up on goodies to stock you up for the night, invite your buddies to come over – or better yet, get in the true spirit of Halloween by screaming your pants off ALONE (nothing can beat that! bwahahaha!), and enjoy the spooky season without having to fuss so much and spend a lot.
